Uptown Core
If you’re looking to relocate to Toronto, consider Uptown Core. This neighborhood is a master-planned community. It features a quarter-circle layout and is comprised primarily of high-rise condominiums. But there are also blocks of single-family homes. Located in the town of Oakville, this community was first considered in 1987. Since then, the community has undergone numerous amendments and revisions. However, construction is still ongoing. The Uptown Core includes several heritage markers. A heritage plaque commemorating the area’s pioneers is located in Memorial Park. This monument pays homage to those who settled the area, including Jones Munn and Fleming. Both of these families lived on Concession1 lots in Uptown Core. Today, the neighborhood features many new condos and townhouses. And it’s a walk-able community, with convenient amenities, restaurants, and retail options.
